Amateur Dramatics...

the way they were meant to be!

The Goring Gap Players is a local Amateur Dramatic group dedicated to producing theatrical performances of a high standard - and to having fun!

We're an active group of passionate theatre people and are very welcoming to new members of all ages. Our activities include 2-3 stage productions per year, informal play readings, trips to the theatre and more. Our productions range from comedy and drama to musicals. We perform works by well known playwrights as well as new works created by our members.

Our shows are intended to entertain by presenting a mixture of well-known popular plays as well as introducing some less familiar works. We perform two major plays a year, one in Autumn and one in Spring and, in addition, we put on various other events. As befits our location in the Goring Gap, we perform our plays both in the Morrell Room, Streatley and in the Village Hall, Goring.

Over the years, membership of Goring Gap Players has grown, with both acting and non-acting people, and the drama group has consistently enjoyed excellent ticket sales for their productions - with reviews that have guaranteed future attendance!

The group has about 50 members, split about half-and-half between actors and non-actors. We are a friendly group and would be delighted to meet anyone with an interest in any aspect of theatre. GGP's committee meet on a regular basis to discuss future plays, events and activities.
