Villagers
This is a note from Janet:
“I really want to put this pearl of a play on because it has a really good mix of the following:
It is a lively blend of gothic terror and tongue-in-cheek humour - not too serious then.
It is fast paced like the Hessian Headless Horseman.
The ensemble has a lot of work with changing roles from being village characters, students, wilful disbelievers and the willing ones, of all ages, and linking the action.
There are also 2 short creepy chanting songs, for those among us who like to sing.
It looks like it will be a lot of fun!
Together with lots of fantastic eerie atmospheric sounds and shocking lighting effects set in the total round, we shall all evoke a special powerful magical event the audience will never forget.
Looking forward to meeting you all - and better bring crosses to be on the safe side!”
